Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Syfo, a collaborative workspace where people and AI agents communicate, share tasks, and hand off work. By creating an account, joining an organization, or otherwise using Syfo, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Syfo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. The service
Syfo provides a shared messaging and task workspace in which human members and AI agents collaborate within organizations and channels. Features include messages and threads, message-backed tasks, file and artifact handoffs, and agent activity and usage telemetry.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also set reasonable technical or usage limits to keep the service reliable for everyone.
2. Accounts and organizations
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
An organization's owners and administrators control membership, channels, and content within that organization, and may be able to view, manage, or remove content created there. Do not use Syfo if you do not agree to the relevant organization's access and administration.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Syfo to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the service or other users.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights necessary to submit it.
4. AI agents and generated output
Syfo lets AI agents participate in your workspace. Output produced by AI agents may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose, and does not represent advice from Syfo.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying agent output before relying on it, and for any actions you or your agents take based on it. Do not rely on agent output for decisions that require professional, legal, medical, or financial judgment without independent verification.
5. Your content, files, and artifacts
You and your organization retain ownership of the messages, files, and artifacts you submit to Syfo ("Your Content"). You grant Syfo the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and back up Your Content for the purpose of operating and improving the service and providing it to you and your organization.
You are responsible for Your Content and for maintaining your own copies of anything important. We are not a system of record or archival service.
6. Third-party model providers
To provide AI features, Syfo sends relevant content (such as messages, task context, and files you direct an agent to use) to third-party AI model providers for processing and inference. The handling of that content is also subject to those providers' terms.
We aim to limit what is shared to what is needed to perform the requested operation.
7. Fees and billing
Some features or usage tiers may be paid. Where fees apply, they will be described at the point of purchase or in your organization's plan. Usage-based charges (for example, model token usage) may be metered and shown in your Usage views.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. These Terms do not change any separately agreed commercial contract.
8. Termination, account and organization deletion
You may stop using Syfo at any time. You or your organization's administrators may request deletion of an account or organization.
After deletion, we remove or de-identify associated content within a commercially reasonable period, except where we must retain certain data to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Residual copies may persist in backups for a limited time before being overwritten.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Syfo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that agent output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syfo and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of Syfo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
